Congratulations to Lucy! What a wonderful day in the life of a child (and so much better than the "day you become a woman"). Celebrating with you and her!

oh, BTW, love the poster ... did you make it? so cute.
She got the special tooth certificate at school. Everyone is very excited to not see "the tooth" anymore. It actually fell out, unbeknownst to her, at a gymnastics birthday party. She was tumbling around, and all of a sudden it was gone!
so did she find the tooth and if not, is she okay with not actually having it to be able to put under her pillow?
WooHoo! Yay for Lucy! So glad she was able to lose the tooth!
She is totally oK with not finding it. I think she preferred it! She is very resistant to hiding it under her pillow and having the tooth fairy come in the night and take it away. I think it's scary to her. We promised her a mermaid doll and lily pad that squirts water in the bathtub if she would.just.get.it.out. The whole thing was rather traumatic I guess. I'm just thankful it's gone because it really looked like she had Billy Bob teeth. :-)
I just laughed out loud. What a great sign!
